Please read these terms carefully before booking or using our services. By placing a booking with Energy Guard you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About us

Energy Guard Ltd is registered in England & Wales. Our registered office and contact details are available at energyguard.co.uk/contact.

2. Our services

We provide EPC certificates, PAT testing, electrical certificates (EICR), floor plans, property photography, and energy consultation reports. Services are carried out by accredited assessors and technicians.

3. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed only after we have contacted you to verify availability.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by us.
We will contact you within 1 hour of receiving your request (during business hours: Mon–Sun 8am–8pm).
You must ensure the property is accessible and any relevant persons are present at the agreed time.

4. Pricing

Prices shown on the website are estimates based on postcode and property type.
Final pricing is confirmed before your appointment is booked.
A surcharge may apply for Central London postcodes, properties above a certain size, or additional complexity identified on inspection.
Bundle discounts are applied automatically and cannot be combined with other promotions.

5. Payment

Online payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
Payment in full is required before or on the day of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to cancel an unconfirmed booking if payment is not received.

6. Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment: full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours, before our assessor has set off: a £30 late cancellation fee applies.
No-shows (assessor unable to gain access at all): full charge applies.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to assessor unavailability, giving as much notice as possible.

Call-out fee: If our assessor has already travelled to the property and the appointment cannot go ahead because of the customer or landlord — including refused access, a dispute at the property, or an on-the-day cancellation — a fee of 50% of the booking value applies, to cover the time and travel already spent.

7. Certificates & reports

EPC certificates are lodged on the national register within 24 hours of assessment.
Electrical certificates (EICR) are issued within 48 hours of inspection.
Reports and certificates are delivered by email. Physical copies can be requested for an additional fee.
Certificates are valid for the periods specified by the relevant regulatory body at the time of issue.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the service purchased.
We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer (e.g. incorrect address or property details).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Intellectual property

Floor plans and property photographs produced by us are licensed to you for use in the sale or letting of the specific property. Resale or redistribution to third parties requires our written consent.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
